March 4, 2014With the success at The Forest Park Hotel in St. Louis, MO, and turnaround specialization, Peak Hospitality’s reputation caught the attention of the TRAVEL CHANNEL’S, Hotel Impossible. The show’s host, Anthony Melchiorri was enlisted to help the struggling historic Gadsden Hotel and that episode aired as the Season Premiere on August 26, 2013. In the episode, Anthony calls upon Peak Hospitality to manage the hotel as a part of the long term strategy to get it to profitability. Peak Principals meet with the hotel’s conservator Robert Fleming to discuss the details of Anthony’s plan, and additional issues the hotel will have to deal with to bring it back to solvency. Per Anthony’s recommendation, Mr. Fleming reaches an agreement and contracts with Peak Hospitality.
Since taking over management of the Gadsden Hotel on July 16, 2013, Peak Hospitality has renovated the Famous Saddle & Spur Tavern; is in the process of renovating all Mezzanine Level Guest Rooms and Suites; introducing new menus in the El Conquistador; and preparing Meeting Space for the Holiday Season.
Tom Rollins was brought in as General Manager and boasts a degree from the Pasadena California Cordon Bleu. Mr. Rollins successfully managed the Landmark Lookout lodge in Tombstone prior to taking the reins of the Gadsden, earning the coveted TRIP ADVISOR CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE AWARD in 2013.

Nice to see the national attention for a deserving company. I think they made the right call bringing in Peak Hospitality. I look forward to revisit episode.
